White Dress 01:40
You put your white dress on But it's blacker than your heart Colder than a winter's wind You lied to a man, took his innocence An unforgiveable offense that never wanted forgiveness I will not sympathize with persons-synthesized You're a sugar-coated, sour girl with nothing in your eyes A poison in your touch, your poison is a drug Manipulated, we feel so manipulated I will not sympathize with persons-synthesized True colors can be seen Even by the most blinded Bled through, the stains are clear Self-inflected wounds still appear A wolf in a sheep's wool A vulture with dove's wings Dyed black and bound to fade You're driven only to drive away You're a sugar-coated, sour girl with nothing in your eyes A poison in your touch, your poison is a drug Manipulated, we feel so manipulated I will not sympathize with persons-synthesized

Dear Journal, I met an angel today She is all I love, yet everything that I hate Love is misery and love his heartbreak I've heard that there is more than that But when will I... I'm trying to let you go But I can't, because of the way you look at me Dear Journal, Saw my angel today She is all I love, yet she twists the knife inside of me Love is loneliness and love his heartbreak Well, I've heard that there is more than that But when will I... I'm trying to let you go But I can't, because of the way you look at me

about

First Step to Failure formed in 2002 with the original lineup of Jared Sin (vocals), Chris Crean (Guitars), Vinny Marone (Guitars), Paul Beyers (Bass), and Jay O'Shea (Drums).

After playing in South Jersey bands together like JimDandy, Nobellium, The Cherry Hoodlums, and Fifth Wheel, Paul introduced Jay to the group who had been searching for the right drummer to join their fold.

No Chance for Salvation is a collection of angst-ridden songs written punks living in the shadows of Philadelphia in a newly-christened Post-9/11 Western World. The product of these sessions is raw and fluid, capturing a perfect snapshot of the band's brutal live performances and deeply emotional lyrical content.

After being introduced to Prog Rock Legend Bill Berends (of the band Mastermind), the quintet packed their (band) Mom's minivan and journeyed to a home studio in Browns Mills, New Jersey. Under Bill's guidance, the band was able to hammer-out ten songs in two sessions that spanned one weekend.

No Chance for Salvation would go on to afford the young band many opportunities to tour their tri-state region, playing shows in legendary spaces like CBGB in New York City, Dobbs, and The Pontiac Grille in Philly.
